Following continued growth and increasing student demand, Mercury College is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Full-Time Tutor to join our specialist education team.
Working with adults with learning disabilities, and intensive specialist support needs, you will deliver engaging, person-centred learning programmes that support students to develop the skills, confidence and independence needed for adult life. Through a therapeutic and practical approach to education, you will help students achieve meaningful outcomes linked to independence, employment, community participation, and health and wellbeing.
You will plan and deliver creative learning experiences, monitor and assess student progress, contribute to EHCP reviews, and work collaboratively with Tutor Assistants, Support Workers, families and multidisciplinary professionals. The role requires a flexible and innovative approach, with opportunities to extend learning beyond the classroom through community-based activities, independence training and work-related experiences.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference to the lives of the people we support, enabling them to achieve their goals and move towards positive futures.
